Registration Policies
Please review the registration policies, fees, and important information below, for a detailed description please refer to the box of a specific registration fee.
- All accepted papers (including Presentation Only papers) must pay a FULL registration fee (in-person or virtual/online) by 30 June 2024. Otherwise, they will be considered withdrawn.
- Student registration can be used to attend the conference, but CANNOT be used for the publication/presentation of accepted papers. If a student is the only author presenting the paper, he/she must register with a full registration fee for the paper to be included in the publication.
- Each in-person FULL registration can upload up to two accepted papers, but the second paper will be subject to a €250 additional paper surcharge.
- Each VIRTUAL/ONLINE registration fee can only upload one accepted paper.
- An Extra Page Charge is € 150/page for any paper over 6 pages to a maximum of 2 additional pages (T-RO, RAL, T-ASE papers do not need extra paper charge).
- A valid member number must be provided if registering at the IEEE/RAS Member rates.
- Student attendees must provide a copy of their student ID or a letter from the relevant department head/chair.
- All in-person registration fees include the Gala Dinner and all other social events.
- Additional accompanying person tickets (gala dinner + other social events) can be purchased separately.
- Technical tours (company visits) are subject to an additional fee.

Registration policy:
– All accepted papers (including Presentation Only paper and IEEE RAS Journal/Transaction Contributions) must pay a FULL registration fee (either in-person or virtual), otherwise they will be considered withdrawn.
– Each IN-PERSON registration can upload up to two accepted papers, but the second paper will be subject to a € 250 additional paper surcharge.
– An Extra Page Charge is € 150/page for any paper over 6 pages to a maximum of 2 additional pages.
– If registering at the IEEE or IEEE RAS Member rates, a valid member number must be provided.
– IEEE Life Member registration does not include papers upload and gala dinner. The latter can be purchased for €80.00 separately
– IN-PERSON full registration fees will cover access to all planned conference sessions, including workshops, tutorials, proceedings, coffee breaks, 3 lunches, Welcome reception, Gala dinner, Farewell reception and a sightseeing tour of Bari.

Cancellation and Refunds
- All refund requests must be made in writing and sent to ieeecase2024@poliba.it
- There will be no refunds to presenting authors
- Cancellations by paid registrants (non-authors) made no later than 45 days before the conference may be eligible for a partial refund. Any request for a refund is at the discretion of the conference committee
- Alternative to refund – paid registrations can be transferred to another member of the same organization. The request for this must be received no later than 72 hours prior to the conference start
- The change of registration type from in-person to virtual request (due to visa issues) should be made no later than 25 July. No refund will be given for a change of registration type from in-person to virtual request (due to visa issues).
